The Black & Peacock or Soft Hackle Peacock is a classic pattern. Great caddis emerger and pupa pattern. Originally designed as a swing pattern, but it also extremely effective in a dead drift. Use on freestone western trout river and streams. Wet flies are a staple of winter fishing, however fly placement is crucial as fish aren’t likely to chase them.
