Description
Like most old patterns, the origins of this fly are a little foggy. Thought to originate on Pine Creek in PA. Old timers refer to it simple as a “McGee” and usually fish it in tandem with a Muddler Minnow. Extremely popular in streams particularly those located in the New England region.
