Description
Technically a midge pupa imitation. This not so little nymph pattern is responsible for landing hundreds of thousands of lake trout. F rom its humble beginnings in Britain Stillwater fishing, this pattern has been successful worldwide. While designed to be a Stillwater midge pupa pattern, we have found this fly to be successful in numerous situations. Particular in a dead drift in rivers containing midge hatches. It is also a great dropper fly and many lake fisherman will fish this with a leech pattern.
