Stimulator

Description

This pattern was designed by Randall Kaufmann, borrowing liberally from the Improved Sofa Pillow and Bucktail Caddis. The Stimulator has become one of the great dry fly attractor patterns worldwide. The hair wing and tail, and the two hackles give it plenty of floatation, add floatant and you can use this as a strike indicator while nymphing, or just add a small dropper fly to fish more than one feeding zone. Yellow and orange make great all-purpose searching patterns. All colors are great for salmonfly imitators and large caddis as well. One of the best dry fly patterns out there.
