Blue Dun

Description

This pattern is one of the great all-time general dun-gray patterns. It can be used to imitate a number of hatches including the Blue Wing Olive, Iron Duns, Blue Quills, and the Hendricksons. Blues are common everywhere, in one sub-species or another, hatching early to mid-summer typically mid-day.
