Cricket Hi-Vis

Description

Cricket patterns aren’t often found in many fly boxes, but those who fish them have noticed some nice success. While crickets aren’t always readily available to trout, this pattern works well during just about any terrestrial hatch. The black body casts the biggest silhouette, and is often indistinguishable from a tan, yellow, or olive. A smaller body and variegated rubber legs make this an excellent choice for most trout areas, but also in panfish waters, where bigger terrestrial patterns often won’t fit in a fishes mouth.
