Since that line in the 1992 movie, most fly fishermen have turned away from worms, with understandable reasoning. Worms aren’t like a delicate caddis or blue wing olive. There is nothing poetic or special about them. They are basically everywhere at pretty much anytime.  Often looked at as a thing of no respect. With that being said the simple truth is fish love worms. They are often available and fish readily eat them. This pattern includes a bit of krystal flash to give it a life like shine
