Description
Folks who have been fishing long enough will tell you often times the simpler the pattern the more successful it is. This deer hair beetle is one of those patterns. Great on the surface, leave the hackle as is so it “dances” on the surface, or give the bottom a trim for rougher waters. The addition of the flashback makes it a great candidate for fishing drowned beetles, which are easy pickings for fish.
