Golden Pheasant Tail

Description

A great pheasant tail pattern that is especially popular in the PA area. Much like a traditional pheasant tail, but with subtle difference that can quickly change a slow day of fishing to one of the best. Golden pheasant tail feathers are used giving the body a more spotted/creamy look. Golden brown ice dubbing is used in the thorax instead of peacock herl, adding an attraction that isn’t as drastic as a Hot Spot Pheasant Tail or a Sulphur Pheasant Tail. A great all around searching pattern that has proven to be effective anywhere you would typically fish a Pheasant Tail Nymph.
