From Umpqua: We’ve got a fun section of the Missouri River about an hour away where we do quite a bit of carp fishing in the summertime. Unfortunately, quite a few other people also harass the carp there and they get really wary by August … This fly has produced more carp in the Mo’ for me than all my other carp flies combined. It’s slender and drops in the water column quickly and has a lot of enticing movement. The jig hook hooks fish really solidly and doesn’t snag the bottom. It gets the job done!
