Another bloodworm/chironomid larva imitation, much like the Bionic Worm. In fact, these two pattern often go hand in hand. When the Bionic Worm isn’t working many guys switch to the Holo Worm. In the fall many guys start concentrating on Leeches, Dragonfly Larva, Scuds and Chirinomid Pupa, and often overlook these little worm imitations. Give these guys a try on a slow day when your go to patterns aren’t doing the trick and watch out. Incredibly popular and effective in lakes throughout the US.
