It’s big. It’s messy. It’s buggy. It’s nasty looking. It’s a jig nymph. And fish LOVE IT. Much like a old school Hare’s Ear, gold ribbing, and dubbing sticking out every way. Better to fish late in the season when a Hare’s Ear has been presented one to many times. Jig nymphs are becoming more and more popular in the fly fishing community.
