Pumpkin Head

Originally brought to our attention via customer request. The Pumpkinhead, or Pumpkin Head, is an excellent stillwater pattern with a track record to back it. Orange bead acts as an attractor, while the rest of the fly is tied is a fairly subtle fashion. A somewhat sparse hackle is used on the body, which will move great when slowly stripped or twitched. The addition of a bit of marabou creates a “swimming” essence while not creating an overbearing tail section.
