A new twist on one of the most iconic patterns in the fly fishing world. This pattern switches the peacock body for a purple one, black goose biots for wings and tail instead of white and brown, and a black hackle instead of brown. Originally a customer suggestion, this pattern has caught many trout in Western US waters. You can bet we will test these out quite a bit this spring and summer. Purple has quickly become a great go to color when the traditional flies aren’t working.
