Description
Scuds or freshwater shrimp are not in all waters, but the waters they are in fish readily target them. This simple Shrimp Scud is another great imitation to add to your fly box. A little less buggy than our traditional Scud pattern, this fly is a great choice for particularly finicky trout. Additionally the Tan variation is fairly similar to the famed Utah Killer Bug. Now that the yarn is no longer available, this pattern is great for filling that spot in your fly box. Meaning it should also see great success among Tenkara fisherman.
