Spinners are the adult stage of mayfly life that involves reproduction. Our spinner selection focuses on the spent-wing spinners, when mayflies are literally ‘dropping like flies’. There are many times when fish ONLY feed on the ‘spinner fall’, for them there is no easier pickens. The PMD or Pale Morning Dun is a prolific hatch, important to fly fisher’s all over. Spinners are egg laying adults.
