Description
Willow Grubs originated in New Zealand and still remain incredibly popular today. This pattern includes a gold bead for an added attractant. We like to fish them in any rivers where green rock worms are present, like the Deschutes. Should also fish fairly well as a midge pattern, particularly in the Sierras. With multiple possibilities as far as imitation, it is always good to have a couple of these grubby looking flies in your box.
